Wełna - a river in western Poland, the right tributary of the Warta River with a length of 118 km and the surface of the river basin - 2621 square km. It flows through Gnieźnieńskie lake district, Chodzieskie lake district and Gorzowska dale in woj. Wielkopolskie and Kujawsko-Pomorskie. River flows in the Osiniec village near Gniezno, it flows through many lakes (including Wierzbiczańskie, Jankowski, Strzyżewski, Piotrowski, Ławiczno, Ayr, Herb, Rogowski, Tonowskie), and flows in the Warta river in Oborniki. In the Wełna valley there are several nature reserves: Promenada (floristic), Wełna (water) and Słonawy (water). Major village upon Wełna: Jankowo Dolne Strzyżewo Kościelne, Rogowo, Janowiec Wielkopolski, Mieścisko, Wągrowiec, Pruśce, Rogoźno, Dziewczyna Struga, Wełna, Kowanówko, Oborniki, Jaracz.
