You know Stu's house from Scream? The isolated mansion where a bunch of high schoolers decide to party regardless of a killer on the lose? Ah, yes, that house. It's iconic for anyone who loved the '90s thriller—and if that just so happens to be you, you can rent the house on and live like you're Sidney Prescott.
The house is located at , a 300-acre property in Tomales, California, that hosts weddings and events. The estate is located on top of a hill, and while the Scream scene might have been terrifying, the property is gorgeous, with the kind of picturesque view that kinda sorta makes the most head-scratching part of the movie make sense. (Who cares about the threat of a killer, when you've got this killer view, amirite?!)
There are three different properties on the estate that guests can rent, including and . But the home that will forever be the Scream house to you is called the Victorian Elegance. It goes for $1,500 per night and can host up to 16 guests with its spacious five bedrooms and four bathrooms.
While many films use an exterior of a home and then shoot the interior elsewhere, likely in a studio, Scream actually filmed inside of the Victorian Elegance, so each room is nearly identical to how you remember it in the movie. You know this entry way...
And the kitchen. Oh man, the kitchen.
Spring Hill Estate is a popular wedding venue and, regardless of how horrifying Stu's party was, the weddings thrown on the property are quite stunning.
And if you're looking for something to do this Halloween, you can attend the being held at the house by Scream super fans Anthony Masi and Nate Ragon. They spent and tickets range from $200 to $1,750. At the $200 level you have general admissions, but for nearly $2,000 you can spend the night.
It looks beautiful, really, but if I stayed the night I think I would just hear "hello, Sidney" in my head all night long.
